Sierra Leone vs Liberia Match Called Off Due To Power Outage

SIERRA VS. LIBERIA MATCH CALLED OFF AND RESCHEDULED TO TOMORROW

The Sierra Leone-Liberia match in the 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations at the LAT Dior Stadium in Dakar Senegal has been called off due to power outage at the 70th minute with the Leone Stars leading by 1-0.

The match has been rescheduled to play on Monday 30th September 2019 to end the remaining regulation time of 20 minutes, plus a possible additional time, at the same venue at 3:30pm.

Leone Stars shall go into tomorrow’s 20 minutes clash with a goal in their favour.

According to the Leader of the delegation Mr. Harold Nat-Johnson an Executive Committee Member of the Sierra Leone Football Association, the boys are very much in top gear with a high level of determination to confirm their victory tomorrow and progress to the quarter finals of the tournament.
