Sierra Leone Upgrades Its Booth At The French Exposition 2018

By Mohamed Faray Kargbo

Sierra Leone’s stand at the 2018 International French Tourism Market (IFTM) Top Resa Exposition has been upgraded to a world class standard.

Once a tight corner that could barely accommodate three people, the stall for this year’s trade fair and exhibition can accommodate more than ten people.

The decorations and displays are so conspicuous that they could easily capture the eyes of tourists and tourism entrepreneurs. From the shegureh to the ronko, photos of Sierra Leone’s exotic beaches and goundnut cake, the richness of Sierra Leone’s culture and heritage has been laid bare.

Minister of Tourism, Madam Memunatu Pratt says the need to upgrade the booth came about as a result of the appalling appearance of previous booths.

Sierra Leone’s booth at the French Expo has attracted the highest number of tour operators in the history of the country’s participation at the Top Resa Exhibition.
