The Indian Government has offered to construct a new Presidential Office complex (State House) for Sierra Leone, to be constructed in Freetown.
This was according to the Vice President of India, Shri Venkaiah Naidu who was in Freetown past weekend.
In his meeting with His Excellency President Dr Julius Maada Bio at State House, the Indian vice president announced major areas of India’s support to Sierra Leone that will impact economic development in the immediate future.
He praised the New Direction government for ongoing economic reforms.
Sierra Leone’s Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh and his counterpart said other agreements the two governments had signed were for the establishment of a joint commission, cultural exchange programme and capacity building, which resonated with the President’s flagship human capital development programme
