Day one as Minister of Education: check
1. Hand over notes with outgoing Minister and Introduction to senior management
2. Paid a surprise visit with a primary school where we discussed with pupils in class 2, their head teacher and their class 1 to class 3 teachers.
We spoke about the cleanliness of the school, water access, and most importantly the availability and use of the learning materials government provides for free. Regular school visits will be routine!
