Back to my Root Youth Festival

BACK TO MY ROOT YOUTH FESTIVAL

A team headed by the Commissioners of NAYCOM, Ngolo Katta and Emerson Kamara have met with the Minister of Tourism Hon. Memunatu Pratt to discuss the upcoming “Back to my Root Youth Festival.”
The festival will create an opportunity for young people in entertainment, cultural and creative industries, fashion, Sierra Leone cuisine, arts and crafts to showcase these to the public.

The Commission through the Ministry of Youth Affairs believes that local tourism, income generation for individuals, talent showcasing, confidence building will be among other virtues and benefits for the event.

The Minister of Tourism was overwhelmed and assured the team of her support for a successful event. She noted that her ministry will collaborate with key players to ensure a boost of tourism in Sierra Leone.
