ANTHONY NAVO SETTLES SPECULATED IMPASSE BETWEEN THE NEA AND LXG SHOWS

The CEO of the AYV Media Empire, who also doubles as a Youth Ambassador – Ambassador Anthony Navo Jnr invited the management of LAKE Productions, CEO of REEMS – Ellen Kiester and Ishmael (Ish) the Manager of LXG to a dinner with regards to the forthcoming events slated for 24th December. It can be recalled that their was a miscommunication between LXG and LAKE Production which lead to a clash on the date of the two events schedule to take place on the 24th of December at the Bintumani conference centre and the National Stadium respectively.

Many social media commentaries suggest that there is an unhealthy relationship between LAKE Productions and the League of Extraordinary Guys (LXG). As the two events draw closer, Ambassador Navo deems it fit to intervene and settle any misunderstanding. Navo commended the two parties for their roles in promoting entertainment in the country but also maintained that we should not have a divided industry. Responding on the side of NEA, the CEO of Lake Productions, Alhaji K. Tarawally aka Laj K explains the role of the the National Entertainment Awards, which among others is to promote the creative industries in Sierra Leone by celebrating excellence in music, film, sports, culture, fashion and more, for the benefit of all and sundry, including LXG. He maintains that his company has no known impasse with any entertainer, not even LXG. May be there was a mistake in communication.

After several submissions, the parties unanimously agreed to go ahead with the two events as scheduled, but to support each other as well. Meaning, the LXG team will attend the NEA awards at the Bintumani Auditorium, and everyone else (including the NEA team) will revert to the Siaka Stevens Stadium after the awards the very night.

All thanks to Anthony Navo Jnr who has helped to allay the fears of the general public. The NEA team, REEMS and the LXG family is calling on all Sierra Leoneans to support the two events on the 24th December 2018 at the Bintumani Auditorium and at the Siaka Stevens Stadium respectively. Sierra Leone above all interests.
One industry, One Sierra Leone.
