The Management and Staff of Airtel (Orange) Sierra Leone this afternoon held a Minute of silence at its head quarters and all other branches across the country. This was done in respect of those who tragically lost their lives in the wake of the flooding and mudslide on Monday 14th August 2017.
A minute of Silence was held at exactly 12:00 noon, and all staff members and senior management offered prayers for the lost souls.
In support of the people and communities impacted by the Monday’s flooding and mudslide, Airtel has also embarked upon a disaster relief effort providing support by the way of food, clothing and logistical support. Our efforts are being coordinated through the Office of National Security(ONS). Today, we are providing Food items in Bulk of the cash equivalent to the people in the areas affected by the floods. And in days to come we will continue our effort to include clothing items for adults and children.
May the souls of the departed Rest in Perfect peace.
